I had to go to this hospital for an emergency a few weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. I saw for 10 hours in the Urgent care centre, for something that took the nurses 8/10 minute to sort it out. it seems like they were just chilling and having a chat at the back in the nurse station when there is mayhem going in the urgent care front area. they didn't care about anyone. they see ONE patient every 2 hours and would come out to say the waiting time is 10 hours. I had this strong feeling that they want to show that they were overwhelmed so they can get more funding or something. Because there were enough staff at the back, why weren't they coming out to help us? hmmm....this gave me an unsettling feeling of how bad the NHS is going down, and is not because of the patients.
