By: Bob Drinkwater Rating:.. Apr 11 2018 I was very apprehensive going to DYH after brain surgery. I was very confused . I suffered from anxiety leading to angry outbursts.I also had epilepsy. What I perceived as reality often wasn't real and life was very difficult for me but worse for my family. My short term memory was also bad. The staff were brilliant and most went the extra mile. I felt safe and unthreatened. With expert help and guidance from psychologist occupational therapist i started my recovery. I was also helped to understand about memory brain damage and fatigue. The food is also excellent. I stayed for nearly 8 months I am now able with support to live a happier life at home with my wife. I still need support but my life is worth living

Jun 17 2016 Fantastic care gave my husband his life back the staff are like friends and treat all services users as individuals The atmosphere at dyh is incredible we feel more at home ther then we do in are own home Would 100% recommend
