My Mother spent 10 days at Nettleton Manor Care Home. I arrived at 2pm on my first visit with her to find her sitting in her nightie wet through. Mum is incontinent and very restricted mobility. I asked her if she had called for help, she said she had about half and hour ago, she also said that she had not yet been washed or bathed or clearly dressed. When the carers eventually arrived I asked them if Mum could be showered or bathed, and after much debate they agreed but it took till 3pm to sort this. On another occasion Mum asked if she could go to bed for a rest for an hour this was 3pm and no problem. At 5 pm Mum buzzed for assistance to get up so that she could eat her tea and she needed the toilet. When the carers arrived they said they had no time now they were too busy and too bad, they would have to clean it up later. Thanks to our wonderful Key Worker, at Social Service, Lincoln, Mum was moved to another Care Home within 24 hours.
