This care home has friendly caring staff who look after the client well. They have gone above and beyond to care for my mother. The food is of a good quality made fresh. Whenever I have visited they have put me at ease. They take my mother out to the shops so she still has some independence of her own. I would recommend this carehome.

Following a fall at home I damaged my knee, which left me unable to stand or walk. A stay at Ashbourne House was arranged until I was mobile again. I was very disappointed with the level of care I received, if I rang the buzzer during the night, no one would answer, a trip to the bathroom would mean I'd be left alone for long periods of time and help getting dressed would sometimes mean I'd be left alone naked for a considerable length of time while someone went for clothes for me. Some staff were very nice, but a couple weren't and the couple that weren't very nice, made for a very unpleasant experience! I left after two weeks feeling shaken and very scared.
