Mr. Gerald Naylor

I had an appointment with Dr Naylor on 23/08/2022 and told him that I have problems with my eyes. I told him that I can sometimes see very clear and sometimes poorly on far distance. I inspected my eyes and told me everything is fine. I asked him again why I sometimes can't even read the board at the airport and he said everything is fine. My eyes could just be tired. Now 10 month later I went to an optician and he said straight away that this is very likely diabetes , I had more and more problems (dehydration and being very thirthty) I made a blood test and my sugar was almost 600 (33 mmol/l). I was diagnosed with diabetes type 1 after a possible auto immune reaction to my pancreas. I must now inject insulin 4 times a day until the rest of my live. From a private Ophthalmologist I would expect that he should have made me aware of this and should have ordered a blood test.
