I would like to thank all who helped me at Marine Avenue Medical Centre Whitley Bay, and also Ward 7 at North Tyneside General Hospital. At the age of eighty, I have never had open surgery and naturally was apprehensive. I am pleased to say that all went well and have recovered. The hospital staff were so nice and kind. It made me think how fortunate we are to have such a fantastic health service when in need.

Hi Sarah, Hospital can feel like a very frightening place for many and you certainly wont have been alone when feeling anxious before your procedure. How important then that our staff really understood this and went out of their way to make you feel safe and well cared for ? The ward 6 team have every reason to feel exceptionally proud of this review - itll mean the world to the sister to learn that shes the best nurse youve ever experienced - what a lovely tribute ! I visited North Tyneside General hospital on 10th July for surgery on my big toe. I decided on a MTP replacement. All the staff were fantastic.
