I avoid the dentist for many years at a time then usually need sedation so gone private when I really couldn't afford to. Joined Rodney Road as a new NHS patient when they had space awhile ago. I asked for a dental plan and to have a dentist I feel confident enough about to return, breaking my old habit of leaving dental work for as long as 25 years - a severe dental phobia. My experience with Rodney Road practice leaves me a reformed character - my dentist tells me throughout my treatment what he is going to do next keeping me connected with the process. He also guides me with self-help through using my breath and explains why breathing helps release the gag reflex. The practice room is uncluttered which is reassuring and reception area calm, friendly - laughter is not banned! So all in all I feel able for the first time ever in my long life to return on a regular basis like all less fearful patients - quite a revelation! |

Really great dentist. Warm welcome upon arrival, the dentist offices are really well maintained. The dentist was great, really engaging and explained all of the processes as he went through a full check of my teeth. Thoroughly recommend. |

I recently attended for an exam, I needed treatment and when I saw the receptionist, she asked if I was free in a hour as had a late cancellation and it was enough time. I jumped at it as nice to get it done ASAP.
The staff are so kind and friendly. |
