At 12.30 pm today a sharp pain shot through one of my upper molars it had been giving me pain for a few days but this was agony, My wife phoned the dentists and was told come in at 1.30 after there lunch break, At 2.30 I was on my way home without the offending tooth and no more pain, I was assessed, x-rayed, pain relief given and tooth extracted in less than a hour, All staff were professional as you would expect but all were also friendly and helpful , I was given follow up measures that I need to do myself to reduce any risk of infection and advice on keeping the area clean as well as 2 extra swabs if it started to bleed ,a BIG thank you all involved from first contact - extraction - to the friendly good bye as I left. see you at my check up |

Parents recommended this Practice. My first female dentist told me I had yellow teeth and they needed whitening (selling!!) when I saw one of the male dentists he said def don’t do this - use soluble calcium tablets to gargle with, mouthwash yellows teeth and whitening makes them sensitive. Second dentist- basically said use every teepee you can get twice daily as II have gum disease ( saw one of the male dentists prior, who did not back this up). SAw her again today, despite asking for someone else- apparently I’ll be losing my teeth in 15 years time due to gum disease (??) and trying to sell me expensive treatments and a referral to a ‘specialist’ in a different town. Very patronising too. Needless to say- chafe surgeries! Going to the dentist is stressful enough, without someone looking down their nose at you and treating you like a five year old. |
