I am not a good patient by any means at the dentist. I haven’t actually been for years and am very embarrassed and ashamed of my teeth and gums. Today I braved my fears and had a check up. The dentist couldn’t have been more pleasant and reassuring. She made me feel so much better about it all, explained all my options and costs andvwe came to a decision about my treatment. I am now confident about returning and looking forward to having nice looking teeth after many years. The nurse was also very kind.
Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the reception staff. The lady who dealt with me was miserable and sullen, didn’t bother to make any eye contact, no pleasantries, pleases or thank you’s. Didn’t apologise when she tried to charge me twice, just blamed the dentist. She actually finished with ‘you’re free to go now’. I felt as though I was being released from prison ?? |

I saw a dentist, got referred to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I was very impressed with the staff and the dentist. went a lot better than I had originally thought, well done! |

Phoned to book an appointment and the receptionist was incredibly rude. I havent been to the surgery since 2019, mentioned largely because of the pandemic and was impossible to get an appointment thereafter, she said I've been taken off the list and have to re-register. Asked whether I could book private appointment and she laughed, and said yes but you will need to pay £45 now over the phone which would have been fine but her attitude was appalling. |
