After full review of the NHS services in the Chichester area, looking for a good NHS practice,I have come across this practice, which has apparent high star ratings. Not sure if they are rating themselves on this website as five star has not been my experience at all when initially wanting to register. That process and experience has put me off completely. Disorganised, uninviting and unprofessional! Needless to say, I have taken my business elsewhere, a poor representation of now an NHS service should be! We are patients not cattle!

I needed fillings (3) and new partial bottom denture. Two filling were done, 1 missed totally. After 3 days bits of filling came out, went back, was told they were ok. Impression for denture done. 2 weeks, back for denture fitting, not good at all, Ended up going to a different Dentists, after proper clean and inspect, 3 fillings were needed, teeth were saved and didnt cost a fortune either. First dental charge was £240,, waste of money, seemed to be in and out as quick as possible, not happy at all, hence my star ratings

My 84 year old mother was made aware of the 40 pound cost to get an emergency dental appointment, debit card details being taken over the phone. However, we were taken by surprise when she was charged an additional 25 pounds for a private prescription for the common antibiotic Amoxicillin to treat inflamed gums. On taking this prescription to the pharmacy, she was charged another 4 pounds. A hefty charge for a pensioner. On booking the appointment the practice should have made us aware of the possible cost of private prescriptions. Also, surely 25 pounds is excessive for a common antibiotic? This kind of treatment does not merit the 111 mention on the internet search for this practice. This added a validity to the dental practice that it really does not deserve.
