Aug 22 2022 I work in the NHS as a surgeon. I went on the 22/8/2022 to see the hygienist. To start with I must complement the two ladies at the reception. However the actual procedure was poor by any standard. The dental chair was from the 60s. The room was the smallest I have ever seen. The procedure involved me holding a suction tube in one hand and lots of tissues in the other. I was still wet allover my face and neck. The lady hygienist did not understand the concept of micro- movements in detail work. she was trying to clean three teeth at the same time. Rough as it comes. the technique used was very basic. I clean my teeth professionally every 6-8 months and have been around and tried local and international healthcares. I am embarrassed to say I have had much better and more advanced care in developing countries than home. I paid £65 for a truly substandard treatment.

Aug 15 2018 Contrary to some of the reviews I have nothing but praise for this practice. Unexpectedly I found myself in the unfortunate position of losing a prominent denture less than 2 weeks before an important family wedding and, for reasons I needn't expand on, without a dentist. I rang various local practices but this is the only one where despite being fully booked, they squeezed me in for a consultation the same day. I visited the practice where I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and saw a dentist. What a wonderful young woman. She explained my options clearly and from the outset explained the cost implications. She did not flinch when I said I would like to be a NHS patient. She then undertook to have a replacement denture made for me and called the lab where these are produced to ask if they would be able to expedite the production of it. I went back today - just over a week later - which is very fast - and had the denture fitted. To say I am over the moon would be an understatement. The denture that I have been provided with far exceeds the quality and design of my lost denture. The dentist had totally grasped what was needed and did her level best to ensure I received something of excellent quality. After I had stopped crying tears of joy - we spoke about further treatment - I have an existing degenerative teeth condition - and she is the first dentist (and I have seen many) who offered (of her own volition) to refer me to the care of St Georges as the work I may require in the long term may be extensive. In my previous experience Dentists have simply wanted me to find vast sums of money to deal with my complaint and often left me feeling despondent. Her caring, kind and professional approach makes her a credit to her profession. I cannot thank her and the team at Confidental enough and would not hesitate to recommend this practice.
