Friendly reception, dentist very good, considering im scared of them from past experience !!!! Bridge work completed within 2 weeks , no pain at all, straightforward. Would recommend to friends and family . Appointments was very easy to book in at suitable times . |

I have held off on reviewing the surgery until the end of sorting out my tooth. I have been with the practice since 2011 when I was a student and always had good experiences. It was very convenient when I lived on campus. Unfortunately my latest experience has forced my decision to leave the practice as I feel anxious having to make appointments and ask questions through their receptionist. I was being treated for a root canal but unfortunately the dentist could not anaesthetise me enough so referred me to a specialist. The specialist at a different surgery was horrendous and induced a panic attack so I had to be referred back to Falmer. At this point I found myself constantly chasing reception for answers about how long I would need to wait for a referral and any information as I was in a lot of pain. I found the phone engaged, the voicemail full, and when I did speak to reception he was extremely exasperated with having to speak to me again. In the end I received a formal apology from both Falmer and the specialist and called it a day. I am thankfully at the end of my very stressful and upsetting saga (from my first appointment to having the tooth pulled it has been one year) and I am now moving to a new dental practice. I hope my experience is an exception but I feel it is important for me to share my experience for other patients. To be absolutely clear, the dentist himself is an absolutely wonderful person and he treated me with respect and understanding. I have never had a problem with his behaviour or the treatment he has offered me. Just be aware if there are any administration issues you may have to deal with someone who can be quite impatient and rude. |
