Band 1 course of treatment – £21.60 This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventative care such as the application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant if appropriate.
I am extremely angry about the treatment I have received today at hsi clinic. I basically had to ask, on 2 separate occassions, for the treatment I had paid for, as an NHS patient.
After the dentist had check ed my teeth, which didn't require any treatment she was preparing to discharge me. She had told me that I had a build up of tartar and teething stains, and that I would need an xray next time, whiy not today, to check up on my older, larger filings.
I had to ask for a scale, to which the reply was, yes you can if you'd like it. Why wouldn't I?? I checked with her that it was part of the check up treatment and she said yes. After this I was about to be discharged again. I then had to ask if i could have the polish, the reply was oh you would like that too.. Both of these treatments are part of the check up.
I arrived at 9.03 for a 9.00 appointment. I was told that I was ok as the dentist had only just arrived. I was asked to complete forms and didn't get into the chair until around 9.10. Maybe she was running late, however this is no reason to compromise my treatment, which I paid for as soon as I arrived.

Came in for emergency appointment. Accommodated me straight away. Receptionist very positive. Met my Dentist, She's very nice, friendly and a good listener. Made me comfortable and I can feel the support from her. Very emphatic, listened well to patient. Explained the procedure clearly and give you a plan of action and alternatives straight away. She's very confident in her work, definitely knows what she's doing. I was very happy and satisfied with my visit in the clinic.
In fact, I have move and registered my children in this clinic.
I will definitely recommend this clinic to my friends and family and colleagues.

We recently moved to the Manor dental practice where my 92 year old father has received excellent dental care. The dentist has always been very kind and patient, helping him to understand what treatment is required and what it involves.
He now has his new denture which fits perfectly and with which he is very pleased.
The reception staff are always polite and helpful. |
