Aug 21 2019 Went ahead, despite pointing out the wiggling while making the mould for the crown. Literally everyone I show cannot believe how big the crowns are, and a couple of shades the wrong colour. Had niggling sensitivity with them for ages, now turned into massive pain, probably due to grinding. Have to go back to a dentist today as was in agony last night. Certainly not going back here. Probably have to get a couple of the crowns replaced, may get them all replaced for cosmetic reasons with the colour being so out. Waste of money.

Apr 29 2019 Many thanks indeed to the dentist with whom we have been patients for many years . The dentist is a very caring, understanding,dedicated, cheerful and professionalf person, likewise her support staff are very pleasant and efficient. We have enjoyed many years of excellent service from the dentist and would very hlighly recommend. My wife has just been filled with a set of dentures and they are perfect and with no discomfort whatsoever., well done! We are so impressed.....Janice and Mike .

During this time the condition of my teeth has been deteriorating due to an illness affecting the bone marrow. I have had several breaking and fillings falling out. My dentist asked for a referral to a dental specialist. The specialist asked why the roots of broken teeth weren't taken out and recommended several extractions and a course of treatment which apparently contradicted the approach my dentist was taking. My dentist was openly angry in front of me and didn't take any notice of this advice. Last year one of my front teeth broke due to simply eating an apple. I went to see my dentist. I asked about the possibility of filing down the tooth and having a temporary denture and was told that it wouldn't be possible until my mouth had settled down. I asked for a fuller explanation and was immediately given an appointment to see the manager of the practice. When I saw him to find out more he asked why I kept making appointments to see him and inferred that I was a trouble maker! He said I would have to wait and suggested that my front teeth were only of aesthetic concern. Thankfully I have now left the area and have found a dentist on the NHS who is prepared to deliver what the specialist suggested. I wouldn't recommend the Oak End Dental Practice to NHS patients.
