This dentist is adequate for the most part. I have no complaints about the actual treatment I received.
However, they push private appointments with the hygienist heavily, and discourage you from getting a free clean which is supposed to be covered in the NHS cost of the appointment.
Additionally, letters have been lost in the post due to misspelling my name and so I've been having appointments far less frequently than I should. |

First dental visit since moving to Wandsworth. Friendly reception staff registered me over the phone and booked my appointment for the same week. On the day again met by a friendly face at 8am who helped me through the rest of the paperwork. Dentist was friendly, professional and thorough. Had a check up and filling, the dentist and the nurse kept me informed throughout and explained the banding for different costs (NHS and private options). My teeth can be sensitive and I don't have a great gag reflex but the team were caring and gentle through my visit. My wife is booked in for next week and I would recommend friends and family to the practice. They did a great job on the filling and it feels great. |

I have excruciating pain. Called NHS 111 for advice. They sent an ambulance to my home. I then went to a & e and took xrays. They diagnosed an abscess. They gave me antibiotics and strong pain meds. I went to this dentist for treatment. They gave me an appointment. St the appointment told my my options. I chose extraction. The dentist said I need to see a specialist to get it removed. Then said there’s a £60 or so fee. I was in so much pain I just agreed. They then said it’s a 5-6 week wait. I said I’m in so much pain how am I going to cope. They said they will make an urgent referral and the specialist would contact me. From 27th April up until today (8th May) and beyond. I have been managing the paid with pain killers daily. I called my dentist 7th May to say I have not heard deform the specialist dentist, whats going on. The receptionist said the referral was sent on 27th April, and if i’d like her to call them for me. I said no, I can do this myself. She gave me the number and I called them. They told me the referral was rejected on 1st April as my case is not required by a specialist and my dentist had been notified. I hadn’t been told anything. I then called my dentist back. They said please come in to the dentist the following morning at 9 am. I’m assuming they are now going to deal with the treatment. The receptionist gives me forms that I completed the first time I came in. I asked the receptionist if I can get a refund for the specialist referral. She then said are you not here to see the dentist another referral. I said no, why would I want another referral when they told me the treatment can be done by my dentist. She said oh you don’t need an appointment then. At this point I could not believe what I was hearing. I said I will find a different dentist. She said I can get my refund the following day when the manager was in. |
