After suffering for over a week with the worst toothache of my life, I saw my own local dentist as an emergency appointment in Seaford. I was told there was nothing wrong with my tooth and I would need to be referred to a specialist that could take up-to 18 weeks. I couldn't last 18 hours of that pain let alone 18 weeks so I called the out of hours emergency service in Lewes.. The receptionist was lovely and sympathetic and assessed my needs there and then. I was given an emergency appointment and within an hour was sitting in the dentist chair. The dentist diagnosed that I had a cracked tooth and explained the cause of my pain and the potential solutions to my problem. The nurse was so empathetic to my situation and explained the pros and cons of my treatment options and the professional rapport between the two of them was so impressive. They were both the epitome of what is great about the NHS and I can’t thank them enough.... If you’re in pain, don’t suffer in silence, seeking help here I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
