Friendly receptionist, answers questions without making you feel like you're an idiot (I've found most dentist receptionists have a habit of this).
I am a nervous patient and had my first consultation with a particular dentist today. She was great: super friendly, explained what she was doing and talked me through the options. Very happy with the service today. |

To date I had been happy with the dental treatment I had received, but have revised my overall view of the practice following an unpleasant interaction with a member of the reception team. I am currently undecided about whether to continue as a patient. When I telephoned to try and re-arrange an appointment the person I spoke with answered the phone in a very unprofessional manner, and when I commented, instead of an apology she became sarcastic, spelling out simple words, if I could have seen her face, I rather imagine she would have been rolling her eyes. At no point did she offer me an alternative appointment, ask why I was cancelling, indeed she made it clear that she thought I was being a nuisance. The front line staff set the tone for the whole experience, and currently, though I have a follow up appointment with the dentist arranged, but am not sure whether to proceed. |

I have been at this practice for years- since changing hands, I’ve had a very mixed experience but it isn’t great. Lately I’ve been unable to book because the phone isn’t answered and the answer machine is full- I tried to make an appointment 40 times before I gave up. I emailed the info email box and had a much better experience and have now been transferred to somewhere else and won’t be returning to this practice/ |
