Several appointments cancelled at very short notice, staff very unhappy and have left, reception staff offer little help, clearly attitude problems and now need to pay up front for check up due in 6 months time. Please come back Mr Bell, all your hard work to make this practice great have gone out the door. Have now gone to another practice.

Have been with this surgery for nearly 40years. Mr Bell was brilliant but , over the last few years service has deteriorated drastically. Appointments cancelled no alternative offered and phone calls never followed up ! Impossible to speak to anyone and attitude is unfriendly and unhelpful. October 2021 I was placed at “top of their emergency list” , promised extraction within 10 days! and have heard nothing since!(March 2022). My letter of complaint was ignored.Understandably I have registered elsewhere, avoid this surgery.

Waited 40 mins for my appointment with no apologies or reason and was admonished for daring to ask. Used to a be a wonderful place to go for my dental treatment. When Graham Bell retired the practice was taken over by a one dentist practice. The nurses remained the same as did the practice manager and the hygienist. However there was then a period when each time I attended there was at least a half-hour wait to see the dentist for a check-up which lasted no more than 5 minutes. Also there seemed to be at least 3 or 4 male dentist who did not appeared to be full time as you never saw the same once more than once Since covid happened the service suffered, obviously. I had to have a tooth removed as it had broken. The replacement tooth was added to my existing plate. However I then had to have 4 more visits to get the denture adjusted properly. I was left standing in the pouring rain for 20 mins and was told that that was not usual. I begged to differ and have been looking for a new dentist. Luckily I have found one, not NHS, but I am sure that the new dentist will be more punctual and professional.
