I had made an appointment with DR Nikolai Elmasev but when I got there it was a woman dentist I had a very bad experience as a young woman and as a result am now very frightened of dentists I had just got used to DR Nikolai so it was a shock that no one said he only works Friday Am . I wasn’t impressed by the new dentist at all no clean just a look round and I came out thinking what was that? Why is DR Nikolai only there on Friday am now Or does he work elsewhere in which case I would like to know where I feel back to square one and am frightened again |

Had treatment on two occasions, went in with no pain, dentist did 3 fillings, next day had incredible pain, mouth swollen up, went back two days later on an emergency appointment, had the teeth extracted. Was told I can get replacement teeth, private only, at the bargin cost of £2,000 to £3,000. I cannot afford this! It could have been a fluke. Next time I went a few months later needed a filling on a tooth that had no pain or swelling, same thing happened, next day had incredibly severe pain and swelling, was so bad I went to hospital A&E, consultant said the filled tooth was infected (he asked did dentist use proper aseptic technique?) was given antibiotics which eventually stopped the problem, at least I didnt have the tooth extracted! Wish I could have left a more favourable review. But, it seems that with NHS treatment the quality is highly variable, going private is a different matter all together, if you can afford it. Disgusting. My advice, go elsewhere. |
