My daughter went to this place today and was mocked and ridiculed about her physical appearance by the so called Dr Sunitha Bhyregowda. Absolutely disgusted and appalled at this unprofessional behaviour and , obviously will never go here again. |

I have been an NHS patient with this small practice for many years, having been highly recommended by a patient who was extremely nervous. She was right. The receptionist makes you feel welcome on arrival. This continues with kind and helpful attention from the very pleasant dental nurse. The dentist is very gentle and caring and despite being an NHS patient, gives as much time as you need to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend this dentist. |

This dental clinic is very close to where I live, so two weeks ago I decided to ask will they accept me as a new NHS patient as in the NHS website have no record of this question. When approaching the receptionist, I find her very polite, smiling, dealing with another client before me in very professional manner. However, when she started dealing with me she suddenly changed, (probably because of my accent and also my clothing was a simple one) her smile gone and she, with not that polite voice, asked me how she can help me. I asked my questions “Do you accept NHS patients?”, to which she responded with “For emergency treatment or Long-term?”. I explained that I need both as I need long-term service provider, but I also currently have a problem, which requires urgent attention. After this short conversation, the lady, not that kind as with the client before me, explained that the clinic works as a mainly private and they do not accept NHS patients at the moment. I did not expect such a response. Why then she started questioning me in first place? I did clarified at the very beginning of our conversation that I am looking for new NHS dentist?! I found the receptionist very unrespectful, during the time spended with me. I felt so miserable and sorry that I even asked her. The receptionist even did not asked me am I interested of more information about their private services (I told her that I have dental problem)?! Probably next time will be appropriate to wear a suit and a tie, when looking for dentist. Hopefully, this is not usual practice in this dental clinic as they have been recommended from friend of mine. |
