I have had endless appointments cancelled. Recently managed to get an appointment for a check up, only to be told their card machine was broken and I had to give my card details manually so i read them out so the receptionist could type it into her computer. I couldn’t see what she was doing but she took out £280 ‘by mistake’ and said she couldn’t refund it. I still haven’t received my refund so they have stolen from me. I have been in to speak to them and had to write my details on a post it note which isn’t very confidential and I am still waiting for the refund a week later! I didn't get any form of receipt either. I can never get hold of them on the phone and they never call me back when I leave voicemails. Honestly shocking customer service! |

Every time I've attended an appointment, they've been running late. The best was 20 minutes, when I had the first appointment of the day. The worst was more than an hour behind by only 0930 in the morning.
The care has been reasonable, except for when I had a crown fitted, which was fitted badly and had to be filed down. It also became infected, leading to the worst pain I've ever experienced. The dentist seemed to dismiss my concerns about the pros8of needing another crown on a different tooth.
Despite a complete lack of NHS Dentists in the Portsmouth area I won't be visiting Manor Dental again. My teeth will have to take their chances. |

3 out of 4 of us are registered here and the surgery has cancelled over 7 appointments in less than 9 months. I went elsewhere privately in the end as was getting fed up with the service. The private checkup appointments are nearly as cheap as the NHS. |
