I have only ever been going to this surgery since I was old enough to need a dentist. Obviously the actual dentist has changed over the years, but it's for the better. They speak to you like you're a friend rather than a patient, always ask how family are keeping etc, which I find really nice. I am always being put at ease with any treatment needed and she will only do it IF it is really needed,as she knows my personal situation. Can't see me changing surgery any time soon. |

We find the dentist and her staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The dentist is patient if you have a problem whilst receiving treatment and talks you through. First class Dental practice and first class service. |

Myself and my partner have been looking for a dentist to sign up to in Southampton, and were given a personally recommendation for Pasadena. My partner phoned a few days previously and was told that they are currently taking NHS patients.
Online, the opening times were until 6pm on Mondays, so we pulled up ready to go in at just gone 5. A sign outside the dentist said open until 5pm on Mondays, so we thought there must be a mistake online, and didn't ring the bell.
I phoned the dentist the next day to see if we could have forms sent over email, which isn't possible, so I thought I'd check what time they are open until on Mondays, and was told it was in fact 6pm. So I said I’ll pop along the next Monday. The phone call was very rushed on their part, and I didn't feel like the person on the other end of the phone had time to listen to my questions.
We went along on the next Monday and rang the bell. The receptionist let us in but did not greet us, and quickly returned to what they had been doing. I thought this person might be a patient at first because they appeared to be dressed in gym clothes and we were given no greeting. We had to find our way to the waiting room, and the receptionist then blankly looked at us. I said "hi, just wondering if we can register as NHS patients." She frowned and said "Well, there's a long waiting list, when did you last get your teeth checked?" I said "Quite a while ago", she then huffed and repeated that there is a waiting list (not what we were told on the phone) and then said “And we're closing!" She sounded irritated, and at this time it was 5.20pm, not even close to 6pm (the time I was told that they close). The receptionist then said "You'll have to take these forms away with you, post them back and just wait." So I said okay that's fine and smiled, remaining polite throughout as I don’t like conflict. As we were leaving the dentist, the receptionist rushed out just after us and got into her car.
I don't expect this kind of customer service; especially after hearing what a great dentist they are who are supposed to be focussed around giving excellent customer service. We were left shocked and completely put off by this treatment! |
