Like one of the other reviewers said, I don't know how this practice keeps in business: the receptionists are rude, they hardly ever pick up the phone, the dentistry itself is poor. Recently, they cancelled all existing appointments for NHS patients and dumped them all off their books (including my children). Disgraceful. As no practices in Bristol are taking 'new' NHS patients we're being forced to go private. The only upside to this is that I don't have to go to this practice anymore. |

I had been on hold for an hour and half yesterday (11:30-13:00) before the phone lines were seemingly cut off. I was unable to call for the rest of the day. I have now been on hold for four hours (since 10:30 am) and counting (inc approximately 90 minutes of being number 2 in the queue). There is allegedly an option to dial 1 and leave a message however I tried this and it just rung endlessly. This is absolutely mental. |

I had an abscess in a tooth which required root canal work. This took over 4 weeks to complete. I had several appointments two weeks apart and in the meantime I was in agony. The dentist refused to prescribe anti biotics to clear up the infection. Eventually the pain was too much to bear and I saw another dentist at surgery who prescribe anti biotics. In the end my tooth snapped in half in my mouth and I saw another dentist who removed the tooth. Appalling level of care. Apart from this one bad episode the treatment has been good but perhaps on the bear minimum. |
