I was given an emergency appointment today at Hadfield Dental after the Surgery I was registered at were unable to give me an appointment (long story!). From ringing up to being seen was just over 3 hours. I arrived, the lady gave me a couple of forms to fill in and took a good medical history so they had all the facts. I waited just a few minutes then was asked to make my way to the surgery room. As this was a new practice to me with a Dentist I'd never seen before my anxiety was climbing fast! The lady Dentist was LOVELY and I felt at ease with her within seconds. She examined my teeth and said that she could either put me in for root canal treatment (after which the tooth might have to come out anyway) or she could pull it there and then. I told her to extract it, she gave me two injections and explained everything to me and after 5 minutes she started to pull the tooth. Almost before I knew it it was over, not as much bleeding as I expected and the Dentist and her Nurse made sure it was oozing only very slightly before I left and I was given a pack in case it started bleeding again plus a sheet with advice/instructions on. Sadly I'm not able to register at Hadfield Dental as they're full with a long waiting list but given the opportunity to register here I wouldn't hesitate. Thank you Hadfield Dental I would recommend you 110% Reply from Hadfield Dental Care Fri, 06 Sep 2019 15:32:31 +0100 Thank you so much for your very kind comments. Lovely dentist. He is a empathetic and decent dentist. Other dentists are good but rude, straight to the point, wam bam thank you ma'am.
What I have great issues with is when you are 1-2 minutes late and the reception staff make you feel like or a criminal, like you broke the worst law in history. Yet on the flip side, 90% of the time I wait 20minutes plus for my appointment. Like today, 25 minute wait time. |
