I don't wish anyone to go through what I had to go these days with my husband. An animal should be treated with more respect! My husband had a tooth extraction (wisdom tooth). My husband felt pain for days after the tooth extraction. Based on his medical record, she could have given him some anti-inflammatory right after the extraction. She didn’t. And I speak as a Biomedical Scientist. She assumed he didn’t need it and asked him to come back. We tried to come back 3 days later because he was still in pain and we were ignored. Let’s make clear they said we should contact them if the pain persisted. However, they transferred their responsibility to our GP, by saying they could do nothing and that we should contact the GP instead. It goes without saying the GP was really mad at them by such irresponsibility
As someone who has been studying human behaviour and psychology as well, I can say that a lack of knowledge, respect and empathy is what we saw!
To continue, we tried to contact them again the next day since my husband was, literally, crying in pain. They said they were fully booked. It is the first time I have ever seen a health professional ignore the concept of emergency. We came back later anyway. Now comes the worse of all. They assumed my husband had dry socket. The dentist did not want to hear what he was feeling. We noticed a clear contempt and disrespect on her face. And everything she did from this time on did not take her more than 5 minutes! And she did not tell us what she was going to do or whatever. We were expecting a prescription. However, she told him to seat and took some kind of needle, piercing my husband’s wound to bleed, intentionally. We both did not know what was happening. My husband was moving his body in pain. All this happened without any anaesthesia! Then, she blamed him for the pain he was feeling due to this procedure! And she said he should take deep breaths and that should be enough for the pain. Would she take deep breaths and be still if someone hurt her in the way she did to my husband? She blamed my husband for her mistakes. He almost fainted in pain with this insane procedure and she still charged us 55 pounds, by saying it was a treatment for infected dry socket! She did not even take her time to exam it! It was not infected at all! The pain was not in the wound but all over his face and jaw. 55 pounds for a medieval procedure of 5 minutes. This was a problem that just a proper medicine could solve.
PLEASE, KEEP YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES AWAY FROM THEM! |

I never have any trouble parking close by. The receptionist is very welcoming & helpful when I need to change my appointments. The reception area is bright, clean, well furnished & comfortable. I like the large screen showing useful information & how treatments are carried out. The dentist who treats me is very caring & I always feel completely confident that I am getting the best treatment possible. I have recently started going to the hygienist and can honestly say that their passion and enthusiasm has motivated me to take better care of my teeth. They gave me good advice on how to keep my teeth clean & remove plaque.
To sum up, I feel the staff at Cental Park Dental Practice are caring, highly skilled & professional & I consider myself very lucky to be one of their patients. |
