I have been with this practice for 20 years when it was Roberts Harry and spent slot of money having teeth straightened and veneers. Since it has been taken over by Bupa the quality of service has gone down. They are hopeless in cases of an Emergency, I called on Wednesday because I had an abscess they told me the earliest they could see me was Monday Pm. The next morning at 8.00am I called the dentist again because my abscess was worse and I was not feeling well, shaky and face very swollen. The recorded message told be in an emergency to ring 111 which I did, they told me that they could not see me because I was registered with a dentist they could NOT give me any treatment and my dentist had a DUTY OF CARE. Clearly BUPA do not care! I have a reduced immune system and was very worried. I called other dentists and Clover House saw me at 10.35, they were fantastic and sorted the problem out straight again. Very friendly staff. I have now moved to to Clover House Dental Practice. Don’t register with BUPA if you are likely to have an emergency, they won’t help. |

My son had braces fitted last August to straighten his teeth. It has been very sucessful within the year. Teeth have straightened and he has suffered very little pain. Staff vey nice and informative on all his appointments.. |

I have attended the clinic with my son who is now 16 and has a learning disability. The staff are friendly enough but the manager is rude and very judgemental. I explained that my son has a learning disability and has problems to understand complex instructions. The braces were fitted and unfortunately my son couldn 't get the hang of cleaning l was in reciept of a very harsh letter and went to my dentist who went through cleaning with him and it was ok. However he has not worn his retainer and now it does not fit just last week he had a complete meltdown and his behaviour was extreme . I think my son struggles with the abstract concept of the retainers. The practitioner again was rude and judgemental l appreciatei he should have worn them but it is very stressful managing a child with a learning disability. He needs training in people skills. I do not normally complain but really do not ever want to return to this practice. But he now needs a new retainer at a cost of £160. |
