My daughter went to have a filling redone that was done 3 weeks prior and had come out. Was advised the tooth needed to be extracted which I agreed to. However the numbing injection failed to numb the gum area which my daughter informed. The dentist proceeded to try and extract the tooth which was obviously very painful and she was tearful. The dentist gave another shot of the injection but still it only numbed her lips and not the gum. The dentist tried one more time and eventually gave up informing me that there is an infection and gave antibiotics and rebooked the appointment for the following week. She also took an X-ray. The child was left with a headache for the rest of that day. Overall the practice is fine but on this occasion it fell short. |
