Nov 19 2018 very convenient local dental practice. Very easy to get an appointment and very little waiting for the dentist. The atmosphere of the waiting room felt a little claustraphobic as it was quite small and the receptionists desk was very high. the dental treatment room felt cold,clinical and a little 'inhuman'. the dentist i saw examined my teeth in a rather detatched and unsympathetic manner.He was attractive and confident but seemed slightly belittling. I had already informed the surgery that i am a 'nervous patient'. No treatment was required.I am thankfull for my naturally strong teeth. He said they needed cleaning(as my last clean was about 8 years previously. He cleaned my teeth himself in 2 minutes of,what felt like,a very inadequate job. I may well have been unlucky but have heard some other similar complaints.

Jul 22 2017 I have been with this surgery for a while, as it is one of a few in the area who take NHS patients. However, they keep changing dentists. I have had at least 4 different dentists in as many years. The old ones just simply up and leave, even mid a course of treatment, without so much as a warning. Since dentists are self employed, each time there is a change, I am treated as a new patient and they have to do an initial assessment from scratch before continuing with my treatment, if new dentist agrees. This surgery has had NHS investigators visit it but they seem to be blind to what is going on. Please NHS, do something about this curious surgery. If it is listed as one surgery with you, it should act as one with patients. It is not only costly for patients and the NHS to pay for each 'new' dentist / patient, patients do not have continuity of treatment, so a poor service in all.

Jan 6 2019 I have been attending this dentist for the last 12 months for treatment, on my first initial check-up that was scheduled because of a tooth ache, I was made to feel at ease. The head dentist explained what needed to be done and how she wished to proceed. I came away from the dentist minus a tooth ache with minimal numbness and decided to make a follow up appointment to discuss further treatment to a front tooth that had been an embarrassment for a great number of years. I have since had all the work completed including teeth whiting and a lot of old fillings replaced. I now feel after many years of fear of the dentist I am quite happy to visit for whatever is necessary, I would highly recommend this dental surgery especially to those who fear the dentist. The whole team from the front door to the surgery are first class.
