My first and only check up at this practice, April 2023, was an awful experience. I was told by a Longfellow road dentist, and her senior colleague, that 'as I had arthritis, I had alot of bone loss in mouth and my teeth would drop out one by one and there was nothing they could do as I was unsuitable for implants'. I was extremely upset. However, I went to another dental practice for a second opinion, who told me 'I did have some bone lose, and gingivitis, but there were lots of treatments available to keep my teeth and gums healthy. My new dentist questions the qualifications and experience of Longfellow road dentists. |

In July, I waited two hours for an assessment and was told that Longfellows did not have the skills to perform a surgical extraction. I was referred to another practice. I refused to pay and Longfellows threatened this morning to use a debt collector. About 18 months ago, Longfellows made an appointment with me for a checkup and clean. On attending, the dentist told me that he would not clean my teeth because of Covid rules. Had I been correctly informed initially, I would not have made the appointment or wasted my time. Longfellows still demanded full payment. |
