Like many of the patients i choose to stay with the dental practise when it changed hands, after 50 years .....and like many other patients i have ignored the "bad service" ,patient care , 1 hour waiting on the phone then getting cut off, rude staff and even a black eye the following day amongst other issues!! just because this was MY dentist.. it was easier to keep things how they have always been.Even the review replies are the same lazy excuses and apology .
As i require a lot of work i turned up at my appointment without knowing i needed to pay upfront as i expected to pay the full 250 at the end of my treatment like previously .So as i had spent money shopping and did not have 22.50 on me i was told to re-book (i had cancelled the week before because my son had a g.o.s.h appointment and no-one could take him). Today i was told the dentist had refused to see me as i cancelled too much , do they not conference with their staff ? Such a disappointment now i add lying to my list of bad service.I will change dentist along with 7 of my family , brother ,kids and mum (my sister was wise enough as a medical secretary at BARTS to leave years ago as she seriously worried for the degree of patient care ,i never listened). After reading the other many negative reviews i hope you make some big changes as it does not look good , good luck .Please check reviews before booking ,dental work is not cheap you deserve to get what you pay for.........I apologise to the reception person who is really good they know who they are. |

My sister normally accompanies my elderly father to his appointments at My dentist Barking, and always spoke highly of them, and today it was my turn. Went to the practice on Wednesday 03rd April 2019, This is my first time at this dental practice and I must say I was very impressed with their attitude and service. The receptionist was really welcoming on arrival, whilst all three were busy they still made time to acknowledge us and book him in for his appointment. The dentist (don't think I'm allowed to write names here or it won't publish my review) was truly an asset to the practice, she was very kind, professional and very understanding (my father can be quite difficult and demanding at times) being very patient, but explained everything clearly too. The reception team as a whole were really friendly whilst booking the follow up appointment too, with good chat and banter. People are quick to criticise but with all the strains the NHS is under these days it's understandable not everyone can have their demands met...this practice truly went above and beyond my expectations. Credit where credit is due. The staff are brilliant. Their service is professional. The environment is clinically clean. Their hospitality is beyond words. Having worked in retail management for a decade in the past, customer service/client satisfaction is embedded in me and these guys truly uphold this to the highest degree. I've been with my practice (won't name and shame) for 16 years and although I can't fault them in terms of service, they're quite boring and the environment is really dull and daunting. I've decided to pinch a form and sign up to My dentist Barking so I think that says it all! Definitely would recommend! |

I have always had a very good experience at my dentist. My dentist will always fully explain the benefits and any consequences of the treatment and explain everything in full detail. Also very gentle and has lots of time for people especially nervous patients like myself. The receptionist team are very helpful and friendly. I would sincerely recommend my dentist to many people. My partner and my 2 children see the same dentist. |
