I had to have an upper plate made. When I had the fitting the metal attachmenuts required a lot of adjusting to feel comfortable. I then had to go back to have a lump of plastic removed that was rubbing my top upper lip. Worst of all the plate itself was so thick it affected my speech and eating. I was made to feel it was my fault as in some people just dont get on with them and I might 'need to save my pennies' to have implants!!! The dentist has since stopped sending me appointment reminders! Not that I would ever use their service again.

I called desperately looking for an appointment as I had been up all night in excruciating pain. The nhs referred me to this practice and when I called the receptionist said they can't help me. They then asked if I was a previous patient. When I said no they said "then I really can't help you" I asked then, if I had been a previous patient would it have made a differnce? They replied " I might have been able to squeeze you in if it's an emergency" I said " it Ian an emergency, I have been up all night writhing in pain and called 111 and they were booked. The receptionist then replied, " I reallycant help you, we're closing early " and hung up. So basically this practice doesn't care if it's an emergency. I shouldn't Have to suffer just because I am not a return patient. I try to take care of my teeth, so because I do and haven't been to the dentist before I get punished for it? I highly recommend avoiding this practise
