Having not been to the dentist for too long, having damaged my front teeth in an accident, I registered at practice as an NHS patient.
Having had some bad experiences in the past with dentists trying to up-sell me unnecessary procedures, I was really refreshed with the honesty and clarity with which the dentisi I saw explained the process, encouraging me to wait until nerve sensitivity had subsided.
He performed the first filling well, but did not last because I had failed to let them know that my teeth were touching. They did another filling a week later for free and that has now lasted nearly two years without a problem.
Whenever I come back for a check-up they are polite, friendly and giving good clear advice. |

U visited this practice today to remove my wisdom teeth as it was causing a lot of pain and discomfort. Soon as I entered I was not welcomed by the receptionist and the dentist who was also very rude. The dentist checked my teeth within a few seconds and said agreed my teeth needs to be extracted but he cannot do this, I was quite confused as to why he cannot take this tooth out as I am in extreme pain.. so I asked the receptionist. The receptionist looked at me and said,”wait a minute I’ll find out why he can’t take the teeth out”. Within a minute she returned and implied that a lot of work needs to be done not just take the teeth out and this will cost me around £5000. This made me quite upset that he did not advise me of it and gave me any option if I could pay £5000 or not. He already made his judgments that I will not be able to afford this so their is no reason for any discussion. It’s really sad that people treat people this way. |
