Unfortunately I only read the reviews after I became a patient. They are awful and rude when you ask any question about your treatment. Very defensive. |

My daughter received excellent treatment at Ealing orthodontics, she was given regular appointments every 4-6 weeks , the orthodontist was so professional and skilled and the finished results are beautiful.
Many thanks for a very positive experience. Reply from Ealing Dental Specialists Thu, 28 Mar 2019 08:26:31 Z We are delighted to hear that you are both happy with the treatment and the results. Thank you so much for your kind feedback. |

My son has been a patient with them since 2018. Very poor patient management and poor communication. Do not give clinical explanation at all. They do not follow the British Orthodontic Society's protocol of orthodontic therapist supervision. My son should have seen by a specialist orthodontist and he hasn't since a minimum of 4 years. I was informed that the principle specialist is Roopa Kukadia and the specialist who is responsible for my sons treatment is Stephanie Oiknine. But they have not been supervising at all! The guidelines clearly state that where practical , it's best that patients are seen with the supervising specialist present. If not possible, then the supervising specialist should see the patient at least every other visit. A routine orthodontic treatment has taken almost 5 years and is still on going. It is not ever possible to make an appointment to speak to the supervising specialist. I have requested to make an appointment on the phone to speak to someone about my son's treatment but I have been told that they do not take calls. This I find very concerning. My son has been unnecessarily exposed to the risks of orthodontic treatment, namely root resorption. I have formally requested full access of my sons entire dental records and notes as I will be getting a second opinion from my sister who is a consultant orthodontist in another city. It has been 14 days and I am still waiting for them to send. Appointments are cancelled and difficult to get. This experience has been damaging to my son's mental health. I am very much aware that the treatment must be completed correctly but I will not accept negligence. |
