Terrible dentists I went in for two simple veneers to be put back in and both came back out in two week, then the dentist tried to charge me £ 1500 for two new veneers. Would never go back to this dentist.

I went in with a painful tooth which they ignored. It broke soon after my first appointment, which came as a total surprise to them. They focused solely on reworking my whole mouth, which cost thousands of pounds.I asked about NHS treatment but they said if they used NHS materials the work would be substandard and not last long, also that they couldn't offer weekend appointments for NHS appointments. I had all the work done they suggested, and they treated me like a problem throughout. If I even flinched as they drilled, the dentist would stop, and demand to know if she should stop working and if I needed to leave? When it came to paying, they did not provide itemised receipts. The receptionists would look confused, whisper with the dentist, come up with a total using a calculator and look dumbfounded if I asked for a receipt other than the machine PDQ slip. Every time I went, the waiting room was filled with noisy, inconsiderate people chatting loudly on mobile phones and letting their kids run riot. Not relaxing. The worst part was being made to feel as if I was doing something wrong all the time, although I was polite, quiet, got all the work done they suggested and paid without complaint. I never complained even when my tooth broke, but they were incredibly defensive, and treated me like a whiny insane diva who was testing their patience.
