Broke a front tooth off, waited 2 weeks for apt. Saw dentist and got apt for around 4 weeks later, cancelled couple of days before as they discovered dentist had training day not on diary. Got a new apt for about a month later, cancelled the day before as the dentist had an emergency. Got another apt for a month later. Maybe this will happen. In the meantime lost a filling, saw dentist and got an apt for about a month later. Cancelled 2 hours before as they didn't have a nurse. Got a new appointment for a few weeks hence. I think they only have 2 dentists there so can't get another one to do the job. Waiting for a call off the practice manager for a month. But the have a new one now. Presumably the old one gave up. Good choice. |

Used to be a good dentist but it has deteriorated in the past year badly. The staff couldnt care a less. The dentists change every few months, My appts were cancelled twice before i started having to chase them to make an appointment then when I needed an extraction, i had to wait a month in pain to be told an hour before this was cancelled and I would have to wait another month.i have never had my teeth cleaned here recently, i have never been told of charges before the treatment. I am now looking to move even though this one is at the end of my road. They are terrible, I dont trust them to do a good job and even commit to the appt. |

I was a new patient at Smile last year and needed a root canal. I attended twice before I was given an appointment for this. The first time was a general check up and the second time, when I thought I was going for my root canal, was to tell me I needed a root canal. When the day finally came, the dentist took a look ( no xrays) and told me the tooth was loose and needed to come out. She then told me the tooth behind it was also loose and suggested I have that one out as well. I declined. The tooth behind it is still going strong a year later and was confirmed healthy by a private dentist last week. I was told I needed a scale and polish and refered to a private practitioner for this. If I "needed" one it should have been done on the NHS. I really feel this practice is cutting corners. Not happy. |
