Was seen twice , once as an emergency and again the following day. First appointment i had to wait an hour past the appointment time to be seen. Second time waited 40 minutes past appointment time had 2 lots of antibiotics for infection. Left in pain for 2 weeks. Attended appointment for tooth to be removed to be told the dentist was not coming in. Made another appointment for the next day then phoned that morning to say it was cancelled yet again as dentist now off sick. I asked to see another dentist and was given one later that day. I had to leave work and traffic was bad. Arrived at the dentist 3 minutes late. Was stood in queue waiting for 5 minutes before I could be booked in. Then told I would not be seen as I was late. I was not impressed and told them so, they spoke to the dentist who agreed eventually after begging them to see me. Went into the appointment 35 minutes later to be told this is an emergency appointment and would not be taking the tooth out. Explained I had been in pain and she then said have you paid for this today. I asked her if she would be removing the tooth and she said no but I will have a look, but you need to pay first. So she wanted another £22.50 to look in my mouth and do nothing, I had already paid £45 for 2 appointments and for 2 courses of antibiotics. Eventually I told them I was not being treated like this and left. At no time did they show any consideration or compassion, no privacy or dignity having to go through this in front of other customers. In fact whilst I was there someone else came in to attend their appointment with their children and were told only one of them could be seen, as he was late. He had a text from the surgery informing of appt time for one child but not the other. He was in fact 10 minutes early. He eventually walked out in disgust. Work in the nhs nursing profession myself and would never treat clients in this way. Advice is do not go to this dentist-waste of time.
