I walked into this practise two weeks ago and was greeted by two receptionists who both looked me up and down and the older one said "we don't take NHS patients" so I replied it's a good job I'm not looking for NHS, I had my private health care certificate in my hand so the other receptionist piped up and said 'that doesn't exclude you from paying" still I bit my tongue eventually I was handed two registration forms and actually said to them is there any other dentist in the area as your not very friendly and obviously don't want me here. So I thought maybe they were having a bad day it happens to us all, so I went back in yesterday with completed forms to another frosty reception and was told I'd need to pay a £20 fee for my husband and I not a problem so I grabbed my purse from my car also picking up my health care certificate and went back in where I was told that we couldn't join, so that's not a problem but the rudeness and unprofessional attitude from these two ladies beggars belief and I've shared my experience with others about the very poor service and they said that they were also treated in this way, it amazes me that you have any clients, I have never been treated so badly I do intend to report this further as I am sure that Bupa would be horrified to know of the very poor standards there. What an absolute disgrace. |

The last three times I have been kept waiting over an hour, while it seems they prioitise private patients. Talking to others in the waiting room it seems they have similar views.
I had a broken filling and flagged it up at the last visit. They asked if it hurt - i said no - they replied there was no need for treatment. I was in there less than 4 minutes.
I am off elsewhere. |
