Absolutely terrible practice! The reception staff are so; so rude. Appointments are cancelled and you’re not told about it. Can honestly not believe the poor standard of customer service at this place. AVOID!! |

Awful dental practice - kids were here for years since being toddlers and was very good. Since being taken over by my dentist - no appointments offered within 2 or 3 months and no appointments offered in school holidays. Regular cancellations of appointments - was told yesterday a couple of hours before son’s teeth extraction prior to having braces fitted, that dentist was off sick. Not informed of cancellations at start of day. Have turned up to appointments in the past only to be turned away - being told dentist is not in. Have booked time off work and pulled kids out of school for dental appointments which have then been cancelled. The next appointment they then offer is 3 months later. Son’s orthodontist treatment delayed significantly due to this dentists lack of organisation. Will definitely be moving kids to new dentist. |

I made an emergency appointment due to severe dental pain. I made it very clear on my medical history form and verbally to the dentist that I am an extremely anxious patient and very aware that my teeth are in a terrible condition.
The dentist was unprofessional from that point on. They told me off about poor dental hygiene (for all the world as if a) I didn't know it was bad and b) I was a small child and not a 49 year old professional adult). They made no effort to hide their disgust at the state of my front lower teeth (I do not dispute they are poor, but that would be why I'd visited a dentist) and made a dramatic show of horror at my denture.
I am very aware my teeth are not in good condition. I am very aware that "there is only one person who can prevent painful dentistry" and I am also very aware that dentists should adhere to professional standards, not only in technical dentistry but in patient care.
This dentist may be a good technician. This doesn't matter if their attitude is such that when an anxious patient plucks up the courage to attend the surgery they are treated with total disrespect.
I have had painful and difficult dental treatment before. I have never been treated with such disparagement and disgust by a dentist, however.
I left before any treatment could be carried out, and will be making a formal complaint with the hope that firstly I receive an apology and secondly this dentist receives training in patient care.
