The dentist saw me at very short notice as I was in a lot of pain. I cannot thank them enough. They also went through all of the options for my damaged tooth. Both me and my daughter use the practice and we are very happy with the service |

Bit of a mixed bag at this newish practice. The dental practitioners are really very professional and are capable to carry out the work per appointment. However the information to make more detailed treatment option/decisions was explained but not digested. The explanation for further NHS treatments was given verbally over multiple choices and deemed technical. The display dental service leaflet only showed NHS band prices from April 2018. I am a layperson and unsure how to apply those choices to make budgetary decisions. Gratefully, I was shown a display board mounted on the wall which showed the 2019 latest NHS band 1/2/3 prices. I am still uncertain of the price for complex treatments over multiple appointments. I would obviously like the best treatment I can now afford. This practice is the most commercially driven dental practice I have experienced to date as an NHS patient. I recognise change, but I still like to be confident of getting the very best value when faced with multiple choices. |

Words can’t describe how grateful I am to entire team at both Temple Practices (Leeds and West Park, Brighouse). Living in London I would, hand on heart, say I’ve experienced a definite north/south divide in the provision of friendly, supportive and caring dentistry. I’ve spent the last 3/4 years struggling with my local London dentists which left me feeling, neglected, fearful and anxious and with a terrible clenching problem which has impacted on my surrounding teeth. From a reassuring, helpful friendly voice on the phone to a big warm welcome when walking through the practice door, I immediately felt at ease up north. And then it gets better… Sam the brilliant Dental Therapist (and her gorgeous punk rock assistant Holly) is probably one of the most passionate and thorough(and beautiful) Dental Therapists I have ever seen. She is dedicated to her craft and explains everything in a way that actually registers and makes sense. I had no idea Botox was used to ease bruxism (clenching). Sam was straight in there with the needle! Dr (dishy) Jeevan Matharu was super thorough, professional and reassuring; methodically explaining the best route to saving my teeth from doom in a very measured way. The practice booked me in swiftly for an RCT in Brighouse. Enter Dr Paul (The Magician) Morris and his adorable (and tuneful) nurse Ella. What can I say…they are the dream team and Paul is a Root Canal God! On the chair for two hours, I find myself surprised by how very relaxed (and in fact fun at times) it felt. This Magician knows exactly what he’s doing and has the perfect balance of a love for what he does, a razor sharp eye for detail, steady surgeons hands and unstoppable perfectionism. You’re the best Paul! (I’ll not comment on your dad jokes though). I’ve had my first sleep in over 3 years when I haven’t woken up with a sore and clenched gob. I could cry with joy. Thank you team…I could get used to this Botox lark. Finally, a massive thank you to CEO and Clinical Director, Sophia Bow. None of this would have been possible without you ???? |
