I had three fillings done in Dec. In March one of them broke partially. I saw a dentist who advised me not to proceed with treatment as the tooth would get damaged. Then he said that his advice was part of the aftercare and no charge was required. I left the practice and in August I received letters demanding payment for that 2 minute appointment. At that point I had moved to another county. I sent a letter with an explanation to Genix as I am unable to use my phone during their working hours. I recived a voicemail to ring the practice in return. When I managed to ring the practice I was told I had to pay regardless what the dentist said to me. Nobody explained why the bill took 4 moths to be issued. When I offered to pay over the phone, I was told that I had to come in person and I am not able to send a cheque either. The person who introduced herself as the practice manager was rude and unreasonable. She hinted that I was lying about moving home because I received the letters despite my explanation that I had my mail redirected. I am about to take the matter to the clinical board in Boston as I was threatened with bailiffs if I do not turn up in person and that treatment of a customer must be highlighted as below the expected standards. |

Never leave a voicemail as they ignore them and also be sure to know well in advance if you are gonna be ill or unable to attend otherwise they strike you off bad customer service Reply from Genix Healthcare East Park Wed, 02 May 2018 13:48:41 +0100 Dear patient Thank you for the considered feedback, which we take very seriously. Dentist we saw was named James Martin who clearly didn’t have any experience. Struggled with root canal and simple fillings. Couldn’t manage time effectively and kept looking at the clock during treatment. Had to return back after fillings as left sharp edges. My front teeth needed fillings but he disregarded this and said not covered under nhs and is cosmetic for which he would charge. Spoke to the assistant practice manager To complain and she said I’m no longer registered with practice as missed one appointment. She was the most unprofessional manager if you could call her that, I’ve ever spoken to. She was rude and argumentative. I will be taking this further. Avoid this practice at all costs!!! |
