Such a shame that the service has gone down so dramatically... I was dumbfounded during a recent appointment when the dentist was sitting behind me asking what the problem was and me having to explain three times because she couldn’t see which tooth I was pointing too !!! I explained previous dentists view to be told you’ll have to discuss with her I’m leaving this week Nurse unresponsive . It was then agreed a filling until crown . I had to ask not having a crown what this entailed. During the procedure water and suction was used without asking .if this was ok. I stopped them and stated long ago due to sensitivity this was not used if they had checked my records for hey would of known . Either check or ask .. sarcastic comments then passed between the nurse and dentist I quote ‘ that hadn’t happened for a long time’ for someone uncomfortable and scared of the whole dentistry experience it’s not what I would expect from a health professional... anxieties rose I was sweating. Despite being a cleaning living girl I was sweating which transferred to the chair . To finish my treatment off and ensure I wasn’t feeling empowered, nor my dignity in tact but shown nothing else but an annoyance for good measure the chair was washed down in front on me and despite me saying to both thank you for your time . I was dismissed like a five year old . Whilst I am a fairly articulate and strong person god help the patients who accept this is the only dentistry experience people can have and tolerate being treat in such a unprofessional manner . |

I was suffering from tooth pain from Christmas Eve, the pain gradually got worse until I couldn't manage the pain at home any further. After going round in circles with 111 I was given an appointment with My Dentist in Walker. The dental nurse and dentist were extremely kind, patient and understanding and helped put me at ease immediately. Treatment and advice were given and I have decided to register with the practice. Thank you for your help. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this practice. |
