I felt judged because my teeth weren't great. I suffer from multiple disabilities. I have extreme sensitivity to pain, which was an issue for simple teeth cleaner, I went home in tears it hurt so much. As I entered for the last appointment I attended I was first asked why I forgot my mediction list, I explained I have blackouts and memory problems, he shrugged and said but you should have brought it. I said my friend waiting knew he then dismissed it and went back to what he was doing. I since found out the medication does effect my teeth. My teeth have gone downhill since this but I feel judged regularly as a mother who is disabled, especially recently going into a wheelchair. The way I felt here was not only judged, but ignored, I was put in alot of pain cleaning a filling that could have been handled better had the dentist tried to understand my health conditions. Since then I have felt better ignoring the pain my teeth give as I got worse when I attended.I am not one to regularly complain about anything. I left this well over a year, probably closer to 2 because I thought the words of one disabled mum don't matter. I know now that I have as much right as anyone to professional care, without judgement. The dentist I saw was in the room on the left as you enter the building. I am writing this in the hope the nest in position gets respect. I still have to build confidence to return which is a big thing for me. |

Always feel at ease with all members of staff. Treatment always excellent. No long waits for an appointment. |

Had bad experience with this dentist, staff quite rude...dentists are not very good just made a mess of my mouth. I am only there because can't find another dentist on NHS. |
