Jul 25 2019 Had our appointments cancelled 3 times I managed to get an appointment but not my husband,and they couldn’t give him any future appointments.on seing the dentist I wasn’t particulary happy with the outcome I was booked for a 45min appointment for a simple clean .so I booked in with a private dentist who took xrays etc .said there was nothing wrong with my teeth took 10 mins to give them a clean which is all it used to take with my previous dentist.needless to say we’ve finished with this practice.we have been with this surgery for decades .we think the reason they wouldn’t treat my husband is because he wears dentures ,were supposed to trust our dentists not this one .we are now with the private dentist .

Jul 16 2019 I was delighted to get a check-up appointment (which was only cancelled once) as I have been with this surgery since I was a child (over 50 years) & did not want to change, so I hung on! I had to wait rather a long time but this was completely understandable due to the lack of dentists at the surgery due to one leaving because of a health problem & the other retired. I needed a small filling replaced & a little cleaning. Superb service from the temporary dentist who is helping the practice while they are struggling to fill the vacancies. He explained things & was very efficient, as was the dental nurse. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful too. Thank you.

It is of course frustrating to get continual cancellations and "sorry for the inconvenience, but we're doing the best we can". However, I cannot fault the receptionist at Trewirgie (don't know his name unfortunately), who I phoned yesterday. He was more than helpful, and clearly went out of his way to make sure that he solved my problem. As far as I am concerned he was a star - and I told him so. Well done that man!
