When you really are ill they go over and above. They even phoned me daily to check on my progress. The pharmacy let's the side down being slow and closing before most people finish work. It can take te to get through on the phone but once through they take time to ask the questions to get you sorted out. Hospital referrals have been quicker than expected. |

Abissmal service. Trying to pick up my elderly housebound mothers repeat prescription. I work full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I suffer extreme upset, stress and anxiety. Try to ring in plenty of time to arrange to collect after 5pm and cannot get through. When arrive I am told I am too late and pharmacy is shut. I am treated like a 2nd class citizen because I work full-time. This has been going on for a long time now. This needs to change. |

I have been registered with the surgery for over 20 years & is the worst it has ever been... You cannot pre-book an appointment and have to phone on the day.... minimum 45 minute wait & you will be very fortunate to get an appointment. After 5 weeks of calling every day I am still not able to see a doctor face to face, it seems like the receptionists are pre-programmed to offer you a call back (which in most cases never happens). The last appointment of the day is 4pm, which is absolutely ridiculous in this day and age, the reason which was given was '.. the doctors are completing paperwork afterwards...'. Considering this is an NHS funded practice, where the 2 doctors receive a payment of approximately £140 per registered patient (figures obtained from the NHS website) it is a wholly unacceptable, they are there to serve the community, not run it as a part time money making enterprise. I have opened a complaint with the NHS as well as addressing the matter with MP Richard Fuller. The practice needs investigating ...... |
