I have been registered with the practice for 4 years and have never had a good experience here. The doctors are rude and unhelpful, and I’ve even made a complaint to the practice manager about one in the past. Another doctor hung up on me when I called for some advice whilst pregnant. The nurses are unhelpful too. The receptionists have always been fairly polite in person but much more abrupt on the phone, and it is difficult to get an appointment, especially a morning appointment, even if you ring up first thing. I wouldn’t not recommend registering here if you move to the village, and I am looking at registering elsewhere as soon as I no longer need to see my midwife at the surgery. Many people in the village are unhappy with the surgery but no one who works there seems to care. |

It was when I registered my family in this GP practice when I felt the lady on the reception hostility towards me. There was nobody in the surgery and when I asked her how do I register as a new patient she looked at me with her annoyed face. Then I had the bad feeling about this place and I was sure that some people there were not pleased to do their job accordingly to the NHS standarts which aim to provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care. I was very disappointed with the nurse that was supposed to do my babies vaccinations. She never welcomed me and my babies in a kind and respectful manner - on the contrary. She was 20 minutes late for the appointment and at the end she refused to do the vaccinations. Then, I had an argument with the receptionist who was particularly unwilling to do her job. Then I filled a complaint using the NHS procedures.
Very very disappointed from the services at this GR surgery. Would not reccomend it and would advise people not to use it since the staff behaviour might endanger patients health. |

I am surprised to see the two comments below about this surgery. Its hard to find a surgery like this these days. Always can get an appointment and waiting time to see a GP is very short, compared to other practices in the country. Staff are courteous and kind. They go beyond their call of duty to help others, even when some patients are unnecessarily rude towards them. Doctors are really good, professional and caring. There seem to be regular doctors since last year, which is very good for patients. Its actually a blessing to have a surgery in the village, without this patients would be needing to travel far distances to see a GP, and they would struggle to find a practice locally where you could get an appointment so quickly! |
