Been there 3 times for same problem and seen 3 different doctors. All given me a different diagnosis. Was sent for a neck X-ray when phoned for results was told that it minor arthritis but nothing someone of my age shouldn’t expect. Was still in pain so went back a couple of weeks later to be seen by different doctor that has now said I have a vertebrae problem and I’m stuck with it for life. How can a diagnosis be so different when they are both looking at the same X-ray. Doctor made me feel like I’m written off and there was no compassion was just told that’s how it is, if you don’t like the result go somewhere else. Was also told by hospital that I need a X-ray and mri and I’ve basically had to beg for them to send me for an mri. My partner also has been there coughing up flem etc to be told it’s hayfever after a week she returned to be told it was a chest infection don’t understand how they can get them 2 that mixed up. I have lost all faith in this surgery and will be seeking another. |

I have always felt very grateful for belonging to stock surgery, and never had any problems whatsoever!
The reception staff are excellent and have always do there best to get me and my family a same day appt and go above and beyond to try and make this happen, I’m always seen by the next day the latest if it’s not urgent. I have always found the reception staff very friendly and caring , and extremely compassionate and sympathetic. The gp’s are excellent and you always feel listened too and never feel rushed , They are always very professional and easy to talk to , Nothing is ever too much trouble . The in house pharmacy is an added bonus.
Listening to friends bad experiences with their gps in the area , I thank my lucky stars that I’m with stock surgery.
Thank you all

I received outstanding care when I was particularly poorly and needed surgery. The hospital consultant was less than helpful and my experience was an awful one. My GP was the one pushing for action on my behalf, and supported me when I was discharged. My hospital experience was the worst, but I would have been in real difficulties if I didn't have a supportive doctor.
I have always managed to get an urgent same day appointment - people need to be sensible and phone first thing. Non urgent appointments can be booked on-line (very helpful), or by phone. I have mostly been able to book a date that supports my working pattern. The on-line prescription ordering, and on-site pharmacy is also so helpful.
I think some of the people who have left bad reviews need to look at the availability of GP appointments in the London Boroughs, as they would be shocked at how long it takes to get an appointment.
The NHS is grossly underfunded, and I feel we are lucky to have such a accessible service. |
