Hi, I don’t visit the GP very often, and I was impressed with the new build when I visited recently. Had a health check recently, given good advice, met a lovely Dr and been referred on. Not sure I’ve done a repeat prescription process right, but will soon find out?? Can’t wait to set up SystemOnLine ?? | ||||||

My husband had to register three times as they kept losing the application, it now appears they were using a previous address in Hatfield Peverel. He saw a doctor today who prescribed medication three times they sent the prescription to Hatfield Peverel Boots. They left him standing in Boots in Wickford for 1 hour and still did not send it. They promised it would be sent and ready for 5pm it was not and when he went back for a third time they denied they said it would be ready for 5pm as they were waiting for a doctor to sign the prescription. In frustration my husband lost his temper they then purposely left him without the prescription for the evening. Unacceptable and unprofessional and appalling patient care. Reply from London Road Surgery Tue, 27 Feb 2018 12:08:31 Z Unfortunately when patients choose to set up a pharmacy to send their prescriptions to electronically, this is activated by your chosen pharmacy and needs to be removed by the patient IF AND WHEN THEY MOVE AREA or they cannot get to their chosen pharmacy; for example if they have chosen a pharmacy near their place of work, but are unwell and therefore not at work and need a local prescription. If patients FAIL to update the surgery then they risk their prescriptions being sent to their pre-selected pharmacy, we have no control over this. If your husband would like to discuss the issues surrounding his registration or indeed his electronic prescription issues then please advise him to contact the surgery directly. Many thanks | ||||||

I have found the staff and the one doctor I have seen very helpful and friendly I’m not a regular and usually find dealing with health issues quite daunting, but as a new patient I have to say I can’t fault LRS they get my uncertainty and just help in a friendly and reassuring way THANK YOU | ||||||
