I had a very pleasant first visit to the GP since I registered a few years ago. I was triaged by a trainee doctor ahead of meeting with the GP, which seemed to streamline things quite nicely and keep the appointments running quickly. The GP was very friendly and I would be more than happy to meet with them again. They were forthcoming in setting up referrals for two longstanding issues that I have had and gave me the choice of a couple of hospitals.
The waiting room was also quite relaxed during the late afternoon with a "no phones" rule keeping things quiet for those waiting to be seen.
All in all, I was very happy with my visit and I'm happy to have chosen this as my GP if this is an indication of the service I can expect. |

I have been with the practice for 4 years. The reception and administrative staff are helpful and approachable. The GPs that I have seen on my past two visits have demonstrated a failure to listen and act with respect towards patients as well as making patients feel as though they are being mocked at a time when they are suffering emotionally and physically. The 'bedside manner' of GPs at this surgery requires drastic improvement to prevent any other patients leaving their care feeling worse than when they entered it. |
