This is such a shockingly awful surgery! Rude, unprofessional and just view their patients as an inconvenience! They make mistake after mistake, never admit anything or apologise. If you lodge a complaint, they ignore it. If you raise issues with them, instead of being concerned about their staffs unprofessional behaviour, they say if you don't like it, why don't you go elsewhere? When issues are raised with the practice manager and pointed out how I would be totally ashamed of the bad reviews, she simply doesn't care. Just says they have too many patients to effectively manage, yet they are still taking on new patients. The awful treatment of this surgery has resulted in a huge negative impact on my heath and that of others I know who attend. To the point the lack of duty of care to someone I know could have been dangerous or even fatal. They should be shut down. An insult to the profession! If you're thinking of joining this practice, save yourself the hassle and go to another surgery who actually cares about the health and wellbeing of their patients. This surgery certainly does not!! |

Pathetic. The fact that St Andrews is scored as good just indicates the uselessness of whoever assesses these things. You can only get an appointment for the day you ring on; you can't be given an appointment for a future day. This is nonsense and serves neither the community nor the practice. There is no email to get in touch. The complaints system does not operate. If complaints is clicked - nothing happens. Their records are a disgrace. They once indicated the I was formerly a heavy smoker and currently a heavy drinker. Both are inaccurate and I believe have now been changed. But where did the information come from? And I believe it may have cost me a life insurance policy!!! Presumably because I complained earlier, the surgery tried to phone me this afternoon but rung off after just one ring and left a message to say they would try my home phone - which I no longer have! The text message could not be answered, of course! The organization of this practice is not jut poor; IT IS A DISGRACE. And lots of people in the area think so. The surgery can now contact me far more easily than I can contact them and I would welcome the chance to speak to the practice manager - or whoever runs this programme. But I don't suppose this will happen. |
