Wingham Surgery

I normally find this surgery very nice as before I have had a very good experience, however, today I visited the surgery and was seen by a doctor. The last couple of days I have not been feeling great especially today when I had lots of different symptoms and just didn’t feel good at all and was pushed by friends to make an appointment as they saw how unwell I was. When I was saying to the doctor everything how I feel etc the doctor kept smiling and made me very uncomfortable and when I asked “excuse me, why do you keep smiling?” The doctor just laughed and said no one normally goes to see a doctor that soon and everything I said how I felt didn’t seem to bother the doctor at all. In fact, the doctor just kept smiling which made me feel awful. The doctor checked my blood pressure, temperature, throat, listened to my heart, but it felt it’s been only done because the doctor was supposed to. I was told that I am absolutely fine, nothing to worry about, go home, drink fluids and just take paracetamol. The way I was spoken to as if I am being silly for even coming to see a doctor made me feel so upset that I expressed myself by saying that I don’t find it funny and thank you for your time. It’s the evening now and I still feel all the same symptoms after taking paracetamol, fluids, have rested etc I wish we would have to pay for health service, maybe then you would be taken more seriously.
